Courtney Hughes
I am a passionate and dedicated yogi above all. I live and breathe yoga practice, theory and philosophy. Embodiment and sharing yoga is my mission. I also love to be in nature, I am an enthusiastic rock climber, I love camping and trees and I love to cook and study to learn new things.
My yoga journey started in 2012 with Bikram yoga. I practiced it for a long time until I noticed I needed a different range of movement. I then extended my practice to Vinyasa and Yin yoga. I soon started a two year journey of monthly plant ceremonies and one day I came to the insight of wanting to find the expansiveness, connectedness, power and peace that I felt in ceremony but without an external source. I wanted to reach those higher states of consciousness coming from within through dedicated, consistent practice. And that’s when I found and fell in love with Kundalini Yoga. It is in my opinion and experience the highest form of Yoga and with practice it builds awareness and connection like nothing else. So I knew deep in my heart from then on that this was my path. My Truth. To practice daily Kundalini and to share this powerful and magical yoga to the world!

Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga
My Kundalini Yoga lessons are focused on getting more energy, healing and opening ourselves up, going within, clearing the mind through powerful breathwork and mantra, opening the heart centre and learning how to face challenges within and without so that we may live with more ease, harmony, balance and joy.
My Yin classes are relaxing, calm and meditative. I create a peaceful space to relax and cultivate mindfulness and present moment awareness.
